tensoiona was founded in 2021 by a group of data scientists and business consultants who recognized a significant gap in the Malaysian market. While many organizations wanted to leverage AI capabilities, they struggled to find services that balanced technical sophistication with practical business implementation.
The founders had spent years working with multinational corporations on AI projects, but noticed that smaller and medium-sized Malaysian businesses often lacked access to the same quality of expertise. More importantly, these businesses needed solutions that could integrate with existing systems and staff rather than requiring complete organizational overhauls.
Starting with a focus on financial services and manufacturing sectors in the Klang Valley, tensoiona developed its approach around three core principles: build internal capability first, implement gradually with measurable milestones, and ensure systems can be maintained by the client's own team.
